* Four Acting Ministers sworn in before President

Apr 12, Colombo: Four new Ministers were appointed today temporarily to fill the portfolios left vacant by the resignation of six Sri Lanka Freedom party (SLFP) ministers yesterday.

The new acting ministers have been sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena this afternoon.

Accordingly, Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama has been appointed as acting Minister for Skills Development and Technology Ministry, Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya for Disaster Management Ministry, Minister Faizer Mustapha for Sports Ministry and Minister Malik Samarawickrema as Acting Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare, Labor and Labor Relations Ministry.

Also, a full cabinet reshuffle will be made after this Sinhala and Hindu New Year.
