* All liquor shops in Sri Lanka closed from April 13-14 for New Year

Apr 10, Colombo: The Excise Department says that all liquor stores in the country should be closed during the two days of Sinhala and Hindu New Year.

Accordingly, all liquor shops island wide will be closed on 13th and 14th April.

It has been decided to close all island wide liquor shops also during the Wesak Festival from April 29 -30.
