* New Chairman appointed to Development Lotteries Board

Sept 14, Colombo: Finance and Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera has appointed S.A.P. Suriyapperuma as the Chairman of Development Lotteries Board on the recommendation of President Maithripala Sirisena.

Suriyapperuma was a senior manager who has worked in the public and private sector. He was a manager at the Lanka Bank and later on worked as a Chief Manager in Seylan Bank.

He is an old boy of Kandapola Mahinda Vidyalaya, Poramadulla Central College and Minuwangoda Nalanda Maha Vidyalaya. Suriyapperuma has obtained his Business Management special degree (Hons) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
