* UTSAV- Glimpses of India Cultural extravaganza at Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre Centre from 17-19 November

Nov 15, Colombo: UTSAV- Glimpses of India, a special festival organized by the Indian Cultural Centre to celebrate 70 years of India's Independence will be held at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre Centre in Colombo from 17-19 November.

The inaugural ceremony will be held on 17 November 2017at 6.30 p.m. with a special Punjabi Folk Dance and Musical performance by renowned artists from Punjab, India.

During the festival from 18-19 November day long activities including Yoga sessions, age old traditional medical systems, Taste of India (live demonstrations of cuisines from various parts of India), Hindi learning, Bollywood Films, Dance and Music, handicraft and handloom exhibitions are planned.

All events are open for public and entry is free.
