* Exhibition on Sri Lanka PM's political life opens today

Aug 17, Colombo: An exhibition depicting the special events in four decades of Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's political life will be declared open today by President Maithripala Sirisena as the chief guest.

The special exhibition "Heta Dakina Ranil" will be opened at the BMICH in Colombo at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday.

The exhibition will be open for public from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm from today until 20th August.

The exhibition showcasing the Premier's challenging political journey will be held to recognize the services he rendered to the nation after being elected to Parliament in 1977 as the youngest Member of Parliament.
