Aug 13, Colombo: Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Chandima Weerakkody that although certain factions were trying to divide the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) by creating a false image in society, no one can divide the party.

"We are aware that certain factions within the SLFP are attempting to create a separate political movement," he said.

The Minister addressing the Galle District SLFP Conference today, said the SLFP is committed towards fulfilling the people's expectations and establishing democracy in the country.

He said the leadership of the SLFP is committed to stand up for what is right and carry out what is right for the country and to create a future the people expect.
