* Business delegation from Vietnam to visit Sri Lanka to explore trade and investment opportunities

Aug 03, Colombo: A 24 member business delegation organized by the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade will be visiting Sri Lanka in August, 2017, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce announced.

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in association with the Greater Mekong Sub-Region Business Council will organize a Business Briefing Session in order to facilitate the meeting of the Vietnamese delegation with the Sri Lanka business community.

The briefing session followed by B2B Meetings will be held on Friday, 11th August, 2017 at 9.00 a.m. at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce premises in Colombo.

The meetings will provide opportunity for the Vietnamese delegation and the Sri Lanka business community to share information regarding opportunities available for trade and investment with Vietnam.

Among the products Vietnamese delegates wish to promote in Sri Lanka are, Agricultural Machinery, Power Generation equipment including voltage stabilizers, Mineral products, Processed Food and Beverages, Cement, Clinker, Construction material, Household Appliances, Electric and Wire Cable, Electric Equipment, Instant Food, Marine Gearboxes, Mechanical Spare Parts, Milk Powder, Motorcycle Spare Parts, Non-Woven Fabrics (Materials For Manufacturing Wet Towel), Nutrition Products, Paper Products, Seafood, Waterproofing and Concrete Protection Materials.
