* SriLankan Airlines increases operational services to Dhaka, Gan Island

Mar 20, Colombo: Sri Lanka's national carrier, SriLankan Airlines announced that it is increasing its seasonal summer operational service to Dhaka, Bangladesh, by way of replacing the use of an A320/321 for this route with the bigger A330.

This once-daily flight change will take effect on April 7 of this year, a statement said.

SriLankan Airlines also plans to increase operational frequency for Colombo - Gan Island, Maldives service, form currently served four times a week flights to 6 weekly flights from September 17, 2017.

From October 29, 2017, the airline will operate this route 5 times a week for winter season.
