Apr 18, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government will take prompt measures to regulate private hospital fees after the report on the regulation of private hospitals is studied, Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne said.

The report on the regulation of private hospitals was handed over to the Health Minister by the Chairman of the Commission for Regulation of Private Hospitals, Director General of Health Services Dr. Jayasundara Bandara on Monday at the Health Ministry.

The report prepared by an international company includes the range of the fees for treatment, laboratory services, as well as other investigations, the Government Information Department said.
