* Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara arrested for fatal road accident

Sept 19, Colombo: Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara has been arrested over a fatal road accident involving a vehicle driven by him and a motorcycle.

The 28-year old motorcyclist had died in the accident and the cricketer has been arrested, the police said.

The accident occurred in Kirillawela area of Kadawatha when the fast bowler was returning from Kandy to Colombo on Monday afternoon.

The remains of the deceased has been taken to Ragama Teaching hospital for an autopsy, an official said. Kulasekara will be produced before the Mahara Magistrate, the police said.
