Sun, Jul 20, 2014, 08:31 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

July 20, Colombo: President of Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL), Attorney Upul Jayasuriya has lodged another complaint today at the Thalangama police station about unidentified motorcyclists following him.

He told police that neighbors have informed him that suspicious motorcyclists were seen near his house on July 15th and 17th.

Jayasuriya lodged a complaint at the Cinnamon Gardens police station on July 14th saying that an unidentified group had followed him.

He said today that the CCTV camera records were also available about the followers and police had not still arrested the suspects.

The BASL President complained that a three wheeler and a motorcycle followed him around 11.30 a.m. on July 14th and gave the numbers of the vehicles to the police.

The vehicles followed him as he was driving his car along the Flower Road, Colombo, he told the police.

Cinnamon Gardens police station said the preliminary investigations had revealed that the vehicles that followed the BASL President's vehicle bore bogus number plates. Further investigations are continuing on the complaint.
