* Sri Lanka to issue Rs. 4 billion Treasury Bonds

July 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka will issue Rs. 4 billion Treasury Bonds of 10-year and 15-year durations on July 10, the Public Debt Department of Central Bank announced.

Rs. 2 billion Treasury Bonds of 10-year duration (2024'A') with a rate of 11.40% and Rs. 2 billion Treasury Bonds of 15-year duration (2029'B') with a rate of 13.00% are to be issued through an auction on 10 July, 2014.

Minimum amount of bid is Rs. 5 million and multiples of Rs. 1 million there onwards.

Bids are invited from the Primary Dealers in Treasury Bonds on the basis of clean prices (exclusive of accrued interest from the date of issue of the series to the date of settlement).

Bids should be made only through the electronic bidding facility provided by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
