Aug 08, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open the Construct 2014 trade exhibition at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Center (SBMEC) Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The exhibition organized by the National Contractors Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) will be held on 8th, 9th, 10th August 2014 for the 14th consecutive year.
This international exhibition plays a prominent role in the construction industry since it showcases products from Malaysia, India, Pakistan and China in about 300 trade stalls.
The Construct 2014 Exhibition features all major facets of construction, including building materials, construction equipment, professional services, information technology, hardware products, interiors, exteriors, plumbing, walls, floors and windows etc.
According to the organizers, Construct will deliver unprecedented access to key decision-makers in civil construction, quarrying, construction materials and related industries.
National Contractors Association of Sri Lanka is a leading organization of the country that is associated with the construction industry.
The exhibition will be opened for the public until the Sunday.
Minister Wimal Weerawansa and many other distinguished guests were present at the opening ceremony this morning.
