May 31, Colombo: Build Sri Lanka 2014, the Construction & Regenerating Expo, organized by the Chamber of Construction Industry, Sri Lanka opened Friday at the BMICH, Colombo.
Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa participated as the chief guest at the opening of the 10th Build SL expo. The exhibition will be opened for public from 30 May through 01 June.
Build SL 2014 exhibition is a platform for potential suppliers, traders and manufacturers of building materials to share and display their latest products and services.
The construction industry exhibition and trade fair will create awareness among general public on products, services and novel technologies adopted by the construction industry while providing the stakeholders of the industry an opportunity of widening their business scope with new business opportunities, according to the organizers.
The exhibition has more than two hundred stalls of international, privet and public sector agencies.
This year's exhibition will also promote opportunities for infrastructure projects and urban regeneration in Sri Lanka, for both local and foreign investors through the Infrastructure Development Fund to be established shortly.
