May 10, Colombo: Jayantha Dhanapala, the former diplomat has decided to retire from the director board of Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka's largest telecommunication provider.

The company in a stock market disclosure on Friday announced that Dhanapala, Independent Non-Executive Director of Dialog has given notice of his decision to retire from the Board of Directors of Dialog due to personal reasons.

Dhanapala will retire at the conclusion of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on 10th June, 2014.

Dhanapala has no relevant interest in shares of the company and he will not seek reelection, the statement said.
