* Sri Lankan President to host Twitter Q&A session
Wed, May 7, 2014, 11:14 am SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

May 07, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will host a discussion on Twitter to coincide with the World Conference on Youth (WCY) 2014, currently being held in Colombo at the BMICH.

The President officially declared opened the Conference in Hambantota yesterday.

"I know you are all on Twitter," the President said addressing the youth delegates. "I would like to invite you, all of you, to join me on Twitter for discussions on Thursday."

This Q&A session will take place for approximately 45 minutes on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in Colombo.

Secretary to the President, Mr. Lalith Weeratunga, will moderate the Q&A, which will take place via the official Twitter account of President Rajapaksa (@PresRajapaksa).

Given the short duration available for the Q&A, those interested in asking questions from the President are urged to post their questions early using the hashtag #WCY2014MR.
