* Sri Lankan President calls all government MPs for a meeting

May 05, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa has called on all the Ministers and MPs representing the ruling coalition United People's Freedom Alliance to come to Colombo for a special meeting on Monday (May 05) .

The meeting will take place at the Presidential Secretariat Monday afternoon.

Government sources said the President would discuss the parliamentary affairs and the coalition politics in the future.

Meanwhile, the President has called on all the Provincial Councilors and the Chief Minister of the Uva Province for another meeting this afternoon.

The Ministers and the MPs that represent the Uva Province and the electoral organizers of the Province will also participate in this discussion.

Reportedly, the President may take the final decision regarding dissolving the Uva Provincial Council and holding the election after this discussion.
