The President personally telephoned the Sri Lanka team in the Bangladesh capital, immediately after the final match last night.

"Congratulations on your great victory, you have once again made Sri Lanka proud. All Sri Lankans join me in extending the warmest greetings to the members of our national team. We wish you similar success at the T20 World Cup tournament as well," he told the Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews.
