* Sri Lankan President to travel to Maldives and Seychelles on official visit

June 24, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to travel on official visits to Maldives and Seychelles, the President's Media Unit said.

The exact dates of the President's tours to the two countries have not been finalized yet, a spokesperson for the President's Media Unit said.

However, the Maldivian news website Havveru online said the Sri Lankan President will be visiting Maldives on Wednesday and he ill be staying in Maldives for two days.

No details on his visit have immediately been made available.
