* Pakistan Army Chief to attend Sri Lanka Army's Passing out Parade

June 15, Colombo: The Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan General Raheel Sharif, with his spouse will arrive in Sri Lanka on Thursday (19) on a four-day official visit.

General Sharif is scheduled to meet the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in the afternoon on the day of his arrival.

The visiting top military officer will attend the Passing out Parade (PoP) of the country's premier Army training center for Officer Cadets, Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), at Diyatalawa.

During his stay in Sri Lanka, the Pakistan Army Chief will also meet the Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy, and Commander of the Air Force, and visit several other places.
