* Sri Lanka resumes flights to Karachi after fresh attack

June 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka's flag carrier Sri Lankan Airlines has resumed flight operations today to Karachi airport in Pakistan after suspending the service due to the fresh attack at the airport Tuesday.

Accordingly, flight UL 183sheduled to leave Tuesday 6 am will leave today at 9 am, while another flight is scheduled to leave for Karachi at 4pm today.

Gunmen on motorbikes attacked security training camp just outside the airport Tuesday, a day after the militants attacked a cargo terminal of the airport. The Sunday night gun and bomb attack left 38 dead, including 10 attackers.
