* Sri Lankans rise in ICC rankings, replace India at second place in ODI

June 04, Colombo: Sri Lanka's off-spinner Sachitra Senanayake for the first time entered the top 20 of the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI Bowlers at the end of the 5-match One Day International (ODI) series with England.

Senanayake claimed nine wickets in the series with an average of 15.11.

Sri Lanka won the 5-match ODI series 3-2 with a six wicket win in the final match against England at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

With the series win, Sri Lanka gained one ratings point to move up to 112 to replace India in the second place of the Reliance ICC ODI team rankings. Captain Angelo Mathews' team was at third place with 11 points when they started the series.

Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan also moved up two places to seventh on the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen. Dilshan was the highest run-getter in the series, with 222 runs at an average of 44.40.
