* University students' union in Sri Lanka holds awareness campaign on issues faced by students

June 03, Colombo: The Inter University Students' Federation (IUSF) of Sri Lanka has commenced an awareness campaign today to educate the public of the issues faced by the university students in the country.

IUSF Convener, Najith Indika said the students union would commence the campaign with an island wide leaflet distribution campaign where one million leaflets will be distributed in all main cities in the country.

He observed that the IUSF together with members of other trade unions will also hold over 100 public meetings in several cities island wide.

The IUSF through this campaign aims to take to the public issues faced by all sectors in the country's higher education system and the government's failure to provide proper solutions to address these issues.
