* Bangladesh offers support to develop fishing industry in Sri Lanka's North Central Province

June 02, Colombo: The Government of Bangladesh has offered its support to develop fishing and textiles industries in Sri Lanka's North Central Province.

The High Commissioner of Bangladesh Mohamed Safeer Rahman at a discussion with the Chief Minister of the North Central Province S.M. Ranjith in Anuradhapura has assured that Bangladeshi government can share its technical knowledge to develop the fishing industry as well as textile industry.

The envoy has also expressed satisfaction with the progress of the indigenous medicinal system in the North Central Province and has offered support to uplift the system in Sri Lanka.
