Jan 24, Colombo: Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott arrived in Sri Lanka Friday afternoon in transit to Australia after attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Sri Lankan Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne received the Australian PM at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

External Affairs Minister Prof G.L Peiris and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa were also at the airport to receive the Australian Premier.
