Feb 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) has handed over a no confidence motion to parliament against the government on the drug menace in the country.

Chief Opposition Whip John Amaratunga handed the motion to the Secretary General of parliament today.

The UNP has continuously spoken about the increase in the drug menace faced by the country and has urged the government to take action against the culprits including members of the government who are allegedly involved in the drug trade.
