* Bahraini leader congratulates Sri Lankan President on Independence Day

Feb 04, Colombo: Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, today sent a cable of congratulation to Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Sri Lanka's Independence Day, the official Bahrain News Agency said.

The Bahraini Premier has wished the Sri Lankan President abundant health and happiness and the people of Sri Lanka further progress and prosperity.

The Premier has sent also a similar congratulatory cable to Sri Lankan Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne on the same occasion.
