Apr 21, Colombo: Sri Lankan law enforcement authorities have arrested a Tamil woman for providing land in the North to suspected LTTE supporters.

The anti-terrorist division of Kilinochchi police arrested the 63-year-old A woman, a resident of Uruthipuram in Kilinochchi for allegedly providing lands in Kilinochchi to a group of Tiger supporters.

Senior SP Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana said the woman, who is alleged to have abetted to resurrect the defeated Tamil Tiger terrorist organization, was arrested six days ago.

The anti-terrorist unit is interrogating the suspect according to judicial orders, the state-run radio said.
