Apr 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) has decided to appoint co-organizers to several electorates.

UNP sources say that an additional organizer will be appointed to the electorates where the party had lost at the recently concluded provincial council elections.

The party will conduct an analysis where the efficiency and skills of electoral organizers will be subjected to an evaluation.

The appointment of an additional organizer or co-organizer to some electorates will be made following the evaluation process.

The UNP plans to commence a campaign from next month to demand for a general election next year.
