* Main opposition party of Sri Lanka to present program for the next eight months

Apr 01, Colombo: Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) plans to present the party's program for the next eight months on the 13th of this month.

The party's Working Committee will meet on the 13th under the patronage of UNP National Leader, Ranil Wickremasinghe.

The party will implement the program soon after the Sinhala and Hindu New Year.

The Working Committee will also be presented with an analysis of the recently concluded Western and Southern Provincial Council elections and the Committee will also propose new action for the party to adopt targeting future electoral victories.

UNP sources say that the Working Committee on the 13th will also discuss the massive Jana Bala Meheyuma to be launched by the party with other opposition political parties.
