Oct 02, Colombo: Several ruling party seniors are engaged in a special with the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa regarding the North Western and Central Provincial Councils, the government sources say.
The prospective Chief Ministers of the two Provincial Councils are also to take part in the discussion.
Government sources say that Dayasiri Jayasekara and Sarath Ekanayake will swear in as Chief Ministers of the North Western and Central Provincial Councils respectively.
The President will also discuss appointing provincial Ministers of the two Provincial Councils and assigning the subject areas to them.
The Chief Ministers of the North Western and Central Provincial Councils are to swear in before the President tomorrow, government sources say.
