The meeting will be held under the patronage of party leader, President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees.

The Committee is expected to discuss at length the future programs of the party, especially the measures to address recent defeats of budget proposals at several ruling party controlled local government bodies.

The meeting will also focus on the dissolution of Southern and Western Provincial Councils and the upcoming elections for those.
