Hora Kele (Ingiriya) Visit/Trash Cleanup Project (Saturday December 7, 2013 - 8:30am)

Rainforest Protectors will be organizing a trash cleanup (plastic, glass, metal) at Hora Kele rainforest in Ingiriya on Saturday December 7, 2013 at 8:30am.

According to recent reports, this gem of a forest in the heart of Ingiriya is littered with non-biodegradable waste. We will also investigate if trees from this reserve have been removed by certain unauthorized persons, per recent reports.

Hope you can extend a helping hand to us to successfully organize this project. If we have enough time, we will also visit near by Pareithota dola where trash pollution problems have also been reported. If you are interested in joining, please email ( as soon as possible.
