Dec 02, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Hikkaduwa Beach Resort plans to borrow Rs. 520 million from the Bank of Ceylon to expand its operations.
The company said in a stock market disclosure that it has negotiated the loan facility with the BoC.
Accordingly, the Board of the Hikkaduwa Beach Resort has decided to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders on December 24th to seek their consent for the loan.
Hikkaduwa Beach Resort is a four-star hotel and located in the southern coastal town of Hikkaduwa, 140 kilometers south of the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake Colombo along the coastal Colombo-Galle Road.
