Aug 25, Colombo: Representatives of Sri Lanka's tourism industry will meet their counterparts in Belarus at a tourism forum in Minsk on August 27th to promote bilateral relations in the tourism sector.
The forum will bring together tour operators and representatives of hotel chains from the two countries together to hold bilateral meetings, according to the National Tourism Agency of Belarus.
The forum will feature presentations by Sri Lanka's major tour operators and hotel chains while the participants of the forum will be entertained by a folk dance group from Sri Lanka.
The National Tourism Agency together with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia, concurrently accredited to Belarus, and Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has organized the event.
The Embassy has launched a tourism promotional campaign called "Mega Tourism Caravan" in Minsk from August 22 -28 to showcase Sri Lanka's tourism industry.
