Mar 11, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa led delegation will leave for Japan Monday night on a four-day official visit on an invitation extended by the government of Japan.
The President is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and government officials tomorrow.
The two countries will sign several bilateral agreements during the President's tour and the Sri Lankan delegation is expected to hold discussions with the Japanese business leaders on investment opportunities and tourism, according to presidential media sources.
President Rajapaksa will also meet the Sri Lankan community in Japan.
Japan and Sri Lanka marked the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, last year.
