Mar 05, Colombo: A travel agency in the United States is organizing a special flight from the U.S. for the inauguration of Sri Lanka's new Hambantota International Airport in Mattala on March 18.

Upul Travels of California has arranged seats on Emirates Airlines for visitors, who would like to participate in the inauguration, from Los Angeles, Houston, New York and Washington, DC to Dubai.

The visitors from US destinations will leave 16th March and arrive in Dubai on 17th March.

A special SriLankan Airlines flight will leave Dubai on 18th March to land at Mattala airport in time for the opening.

Following the ceremony special luxury buses will take the visitors to the Sri Lankan capital Colombo.
