Feb 17, Colombo: Lanka Milk Foods, PLC has announced plans to increase its plant capacity to process and pack more liquid milk.

The company in a disclosure filed at the Colombo Stock Exchange Friday said the Board of Directors of Lanka Milk Foods has approved an expansion project at its subsidiary, Lanka Dairies (Pvt) Ltd. to increase the plant capacity to process and pack more liquid milk.

The firm will spend 800 million rupees on the expansion.

In addition to its modern manufacturing and packaging facilities Lanka Milk Foods also owns two of Sri Lanka's largest dairy farms - Ambewela and Pattipola Farms.
