Feb 16, Colombo: An unidentified group of men have reportedly shot Sunday Leader journalist Faraz Shauketaly, Friday night.

Local media reported that Shauketaly was admitted to Kalubowila Hospital and is being treated for gunshot injuries. He is reportedly in a stable condition.

The motive for the shooting is not known and no one has been arrested yet. Police are conducting investigations into the shooting.
