Feb 12, Colombo: Eleven Indian companies will be participating in an upcoming yarn & fabric show to be held in Sri Lanka later this month, the Indian High Commission in Colombo said in a release.
The 4th Colombo International Yarn & Fabric Show will be held from 28th February to 2nd March 2013 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Center (SLECC) in Colombo.
The '4th CIFS 2013’ will be a marketplace for textile business as well as presenting the latest fabrics and trends. Exhibitors from around the world will present their up-to-date fabrics, which is ready-to-use for garment, accessories, industrial use and other various applications.
According to organizers, the exhibition will be fully equipped with all ranges of textile products enhanced with the latest technology to satisfy the growing demand of the buyers.
The11 Indian companies participating in the show are under the banner of the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL), Mumbai.
The Indian exhibitors would be displaying samples of Yarns, Yarn dyed fabrics, Grey fabrics, Knitted fabrics, Denim fabrics, Fancy knitted fabrics and 100% cotton as well as blended fabrics.
The High commission said the event would provide a unique opportunity to the Sri Lankan textile entrepreneurs dealing in fabrics, yarns and garments to visit the "Indian Pavilion" and take benefit of TEXPROCIL's presence in the exhibition by having one-to-one business discussion and making new trade contacts.
