* New media spokesman for Sri Lanka President

Nov 14, Colombo: Mohan Samaranayake has been appointed as the new Media Spokesman to the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in addition to his post as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.

In addition, Ms. Anuradha Herath was appointed as the Director of International Media, the PMD said.

Bandula Jayasekera, who earlier held both positions, will be be appointed as the Sri Lanka Consul General in Sydney, Australia.
