* Report of the PSC on impeachment of Sri Lanka Chief Justice to be published soon

Dec 16, Colombo: Sri Lanka parliamentary sources say that the report of the parliamentary select committee (PSC) on the impeachment of the Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake will be handed over to the Government Printer tomorrow for publishing.

The report consisting of around 100 pages will be published in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages as one volume.

The chairman of the PSC, Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa tabled the report in parliament on December 08. The Speaker has directed the officials to publish it.

The published report is to be handed over to all the members of the parliament.

The PSC found the Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake guilty of three of the five charges investigated by the committee.
