* Fuel prices increased in Sri Lanka

Dec 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka's state owned petroleum supplier Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has increased the price of a liter of 90-Octane petrol by Rs. 10.

The CPC price increase went into effect from midnight Friday and the new priceof a 90-octane liter is Rs. 159.

The private oil supplier Lanka IOC also has increased the price of 90-Octane Petrol liter by 10 rupees from today to be in line with the CPC. A liter of Lanka IOC Petrol is also priced at Rs. 159.

The CPC has not increased the prices of diesel and kerosene.
