Sept 29, Pallekele: After winning the toss West Indies set Sri Lanka a modest total of 130 to chase in the Super Eight Group 1 of the ICC World Twenty20, at the Pallekele International stadium today.

Sri Lanka cheaply dismissed the openers with Ajantha Mendis taking the scalp of J. Charles for 12 and Nuwan Kulasekara dismissing Chris Gayle for 2. Marlon Samuels scored a half a century before he was brilliantly caught by Dilshan Tillakaratne at the boundary and Ajantha Mendis dismissed Darren Bravo for 40.

West Indies beat current champions England on Thursday in the second match of the Group I in the Super Eight round.
