* Sri Lanka Examination Department releases Grade Five scholarship results

Sept 25, Colombo: Sri Lanka Examination Department has released the results of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination which was delayed due to the allegations of leaked test papers.

Commissioner General for Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that the results of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination conducted in August have been released and could be obtained from the Department website at www.doenets.lk .

The Criminal Investigations Department of police carried out an inquiry into allegations that question papers of the Examination had leaked before it was held.

However, an investigation found no evidence to any leak in the Scholarship Examination papers as the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teacher Services Union (CTSU) Mahinda Jayasinghe alleged.
