Sept 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka Ministry of Education says that the university professors and lecturers will have a discussion with the Examination Commissioner N.J.M. Pushpakumara today regarding evaluation of G.C.E. Advanced Level answer scripts.

Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena anticipated that the evaluation of the papers could be commenced this week.

The Examination Commissioner has invited 400 university academics for the meeting. The Minister expressed hope that the academics will agree to grade the answer scripts and hopefully grading can be commenced this week.

The university entrance Advanced Level examination was held in August and the evaluation was to be started at the beginning of September.
