Oct 17, Colombo: The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and Bank of Ceylon (BOC) have planned to launch an online payment facility to facilitate employers to make their monthly Employees Provident Fund (EPF) payments and to send the member details electronically.
CBSL and BOC have signed an agreement in regard of this online payment facility.
With this facility, the employers can make their EPF payments from their office and they can also upload the member details to the system even on the last date of payment with minimum paper work.
Bank of Ceylon announces that the bank now provides a range of e-banking facilities to corporate clients and they can handle many of their payments such as customs duty, Ports Authority payments, ETF and EPF payments at one stop.
