Oct 12, Colombo: Sri Lanka Minister of Posts Jeewan Kumaratunga says that the Postal Department has commenced a service of delivering motor spare parts.

According to the Minister, the new service will deliver spare parts orders to the doors of the customers. The service is especially for three wheeler and motorcycle spare parts.

The Minister says that the parts ordered will be delivered to the houses of the customers same way as the letters are delivered.

Three wheelers and the motorcycles are the most popular types of transport of the public and large numbers of them are used in rural areas.

The Ministry hopes the service will benefit both the customers as well as dealers in this sector.
