Oct 10, Colombo: Sri Lanka police today released to the media a sketched image of the main suspect wanted in connection with the attack on the Secretary of Sri Lanka Judiciary Service Commission (JSC) Manjula Tilakaratne.

The Colombo Crimes Division created the image of the suspect based on the statement of the JSC Secretary who is still being treated for the injuries he sustained to his head and face during the attack.

The Police urged the public to provide any information regarding the suspect to the nearest Police station or to call the Colombo Crimes Division.

The man in the image is believed to be the main attacker of the unidentified group of four suspected of attacking Tilakaratne and robbing his personal property.

They have assaulted the judge with a revolver while he was waiting in the car after dropping his wife and son for sports practice in Mount Lavinia.
