* Long delayed evaluation of Sri Lanka national examination to commence tomorrow
Sun, Oct 7, 2012, 10:23 am SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Oct 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka Examination Commissioner W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara says that all arrangements have been made to start the evaluation of the answer scripts of the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination tomorrow.

The official said that the academics have pledged support to the evaluation that was delayed more than a month due to the strike of the university teachers.

The Examination Commissioner said that 95 percent of the academics have agreed to participate in evaluation and the meetings of the leading evaluators also were held last Friday with the participation of 84 Chief Evaluators, Controlling Evaluators and Additional Chief Evaluators.

Evaluation of 14 subjects is to be started at three centers from tomorrow. Evaluation is carried out in three stages, said the Examination Commissioner.
